Irna’s career blends analytical precision with artistic expression: she is a published poet, a trophy-winning public speaker, and once even competed in the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires.
Her interest in blockchain deepened during her years in Buenos Aires studying tango. Living through the Argentine financial crisis, making trips to Uruguay to withdraw U.S. dollars, and frequenting cuevas (informal currency-exchange houses) just to afford her tango lessons, made the power of decentralization and transparency impossible to ignore.
She helps cutting-edge companies tell their stories, transforming complex technology into human impact. An MIT graduate, she has led teams across high tech, capital markets, manufacturing, and supply chain, managing cross-functional work in sales, operations, product development, and growth. She believes innovation thrives when it’s understood, trusted, and shared.
Irna lives with her husband Sean, and they split their time between the Washington, DC area and St. Pete Beach, Florida. They wrote a book together called Poems for the Dying.
When she is not advocating for blockchain and a fairer world, Irna enjoys beach walks, mountain hikes, trying out new kitchen recipes, and meditation.
